The Beverly Place Golf Club

Beverly Place Golf Club is one of the best places to go to, on the north side of the country. It is definitely an oasis for all types of golfers. I personally love the design and really enjoy playing the course as it gives you some freedom to make mistakes. It naturally allows you to realize how fun it is to play golf!
The par-71 championship golf course was built in 2009 and designed by the legendary professional golfer, Gary Player. It has a total yardage of 6,307 yards from the golf tees, with a slope rating of 128. It is located in the city of Mexico, in Pampanga. The golf course is a project of Sta. Lucia Land, Inc., built around an elegant real estate community.
The course is basically flat with enough angulations to make it more challenging. The design and width of the fairways are just about right for you to appreciate your not so straight shots. There are water hazards strategically placed in almost every hole that sometimes keeps you on your toes. The big lakes on holes 2 and 8, the island green at hole 15, and a hidden creek at hole 1, will definitely oblige you to be more careful in saving more strokes and golf balls, and sometimes ego.
I believe that this golf course is a charming destination. It is surrounded by beautiful and pleasant scenery. The fairways and greens are very well maintained. You will always have a good lie on the fairway unless you go into the primary and secondary roughs. The greens are medium soft and will either roll or stop, depending on the slope it lands. There are man-made lakes or water hazards filled with plants, flowers, delicate ferns and trees. It really is enjoyable to engage your rounds here time and time again.
The clubhouse is fully operational. It includes a dining room and veranda, men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, pro shop, caddies’ quarters, bag drop area, administration office, other function rooms, Jacuzzi and swimming pool. Outside of the clubhouse are tee houses on the golf course and the driving range located not too far from the clubhouse. Please take note that their food is excellent!
Beverly Place Golf Club is open to the public daily from 5:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Maintenance day is on Mondays. It’s about a 45-minute drive as you enter NLEX from EDSA.
