Verde respite in the East
By: Vaughn Alviar
The leaves and reeds, vibrant green, rustle with the rush of the wind. The blue lake mirrors the majestic sky and frames the spellbinding provincial life. I’m not trying to describe a landscape painting. I’m encapsulating the vista that awaits a resident of Sta. Lucia Land Inc.’s newest offering in Pililla, Rizal: Ponte Verde Pililla.
For much of 2020, the pandemic gave us reason to yearn for larger living spaces. Indeed, these allow us to better practice social distancing and isolation, to appoint ample areas for work and play, to discover or develop skills and passions and, even beyond the pandemic, to break away from the frantic city life.
Arcadian community
All these desires can be had in suburban settings, which include Ponte Verde Pililla. One will distinguish this project, however, because of its remarkable place on the map.
This Sta. Lucia masterplanned project along Manila East Road, Halayhayin village, in Rizal’s Greenfield municipality, will transform an 18.8-ha property into a picture-perfect, arcadian community. Apart from residences, the development will also host commercial spaces sure to provide both dwellers and visitors access to goods and services.
Sta. Lucia is so confident in this scenic suburbia that it ensured people would remember the launch of Ponte Verde Pililla on Nov. 28 as the trusted developer’s first-ever virtual groundbreaking, aired via Facebook Live. Pililla Mayor Dan Masinsin and workers from the local government unit even graced the ceremony to show their all out support.
One would really be hard-pressed to find any reason to doubt the project’s success. The properties it puts on the market will allow owners to experience the fabled Sta. Lucia advantage.
Assured security
The fully landscaped entrance gate with its own guardhouse points to the assurance of security that has come with the brand. The clubhouse at the edge of the property, with a swimming pool, basketball court and kids’ playground, celebrates both family and community. Sidewalks are wide and paved, inviting people to bike, jog or walk within the development.
Scenic refuge
The project is a mountainside refuge, treating dwellers to breathtaking views of Laguna de Bay and the Pililla windmills. On its own, Ponte Verde Pililla provides a relaxing, vacation-like vibe. But for those looking for more in town, nearby are agritourism spots, planted to pineapples and bamboos, among others.
The town’s road networks also provide access points to Laguna, Quezon and the rest of Rizal. One has gateways to ecotourism spots like the popular Masungi Georeserve in Tanay.
On Sundays, one can drive to Antipolo Cathedral, Kamay Ni Hesus in Lucban and so many other religious or meditational sites quite easily. Even if the ambiance makes it feel like urbanity is lightyears away, the roads comfortably lead to hubs in Mega Manila.
Ponte Verde not only provides the luxury of space or the ideal suburban lifestyle, it manifests the height of life itself.
