It’s no secret how golf holds a special place in my heart.
Aside from being one of my favorite activities to destress, golf has played an essential part in shaping my character. It has taught me to be confident in what I am capable of and to have a focused, purpose-driven mindset. It has helped develop a sense of calm within me, especially when life becomes too overwhelming and everything becomes too noisy.
Not to mention that I come from a family of golfers, and the sport has become a staple in our get-togethers, even vacations. I simply have too many happy memories attached to this sport.
This is perhaps the reason behind my soft spot for Sta. Lucia Land Inc. (SLI). The property developer has undoubtedly hit a hole-in-one when it comes to designing world-class golf courses. Over the years, it has made its name synonymous to championship courses whether it’s for serious athletes or aficionados.
Yet, more than cementing its position as pioneers in creating well-designed fairways, what is admirable about SLI is how it has remained to be a staunch partner of Filipinos when it comes to building beautiful and decent homes and communities.
Over the last 50 years, the Sta. Lucia Group, led by publicly listed SLI, has managed to thrive well.
