Sta. Lucia Land reimagines the ‘home of your dreams’
You can tend to your own farm at La Huerta.
Sta. Lucia Land Inc., in partnership with Lapanday Properties Philippines Inc. (LPPI), an affiliate of Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation (TLDC), is in the final stages of designing a model farm house for La Huerta Farms and Residences, which will provide prospective homeowners a preview of the quaint lifestyle that awaits within this farm estate.
Reflective of today’s needs, this model farm house will help you reimagine the home of your dreams—white picket fences, wide spacious areas, fresh air, lots of greenery and a plot of land where you can plant herbs, produce, or colorful blooms. It will bring you the serene, soothing countryside lifestyle that many are yearning for nowadays, but with the modern urban conveniences you’ve grown accustomed to.
To be located right within the frontage of La Huerta Farms in Calamba, Laguna, this model farm house is targeted for completion by August this year, enabling you to envision the joy and fulfillment of having your own farm house, just outside the city.
La Huerta is near industrial sites, community spaces and leisure sites. It is just half an hour to Tagaytay and an even shorter drive to the center of Calamba, while Manila is an hour away.
“We understand the importance of model units for our homebuyers as it will not only inspire them as they design their homes, but it will also give them a preview of the life that awaits them in a Sta. Lucia Land community. When we create our model units, we make sure that we are able to present an array of designs and configurations that would suit their varying lifestyles,” said Sta. Lucia Land President Exequiel Robles.
“For example, many are currently looking for wide open spaces and farm lots. For La Huerta, we will ensure that our model farm house unit will give buyers a feel of how beautiful, cozy yet still modern their homes can be in a farm setting,” Mr. Robles added.
Mr. Tomas Lorenzo, President of LPPI, explained that the model house will be done in classic American farmhouse architecture, featuring details such as front porch and rail, airy interiors, a dark gable roof, and a predominantly light colored structure that will allow it to stand out in contrast to the landscaped greens and blue skies that form the backdrop of homes in La Huerta.
“This design is highly suited to the new normal as there will be expansive spaces within the house, as well as large windows and doors to allow for cross ventilation. The porch is an area where guests can be received without having them enter the house. It can also function as a sanitation area for residents before entering the home,” Mr. Lorenzo said.
The La Huerta model house will be minimalist, bringing the focus to the living spaces and not necessarily the architecture. The design is timeless, easy to maintain, and can be adapted to various lifestyles. The model unit will no doubt make future residents appreciate the laidback and relaxing vibe of farm life.
“Its layout will be similar to how farmhouses used to be—with plenty of open space and areas to plant your herbs and vegetables. It will really be a good showcase of how a farm house should and must be,” Mr. Robles added.
One can indeed find that rare opportunity to “go back to basics” at La Huerta, which means “The Orchard,” as it will allow future owners to enjoy the numerous benefits of a healthy, sustainable lifestyle in one’s own farm estate. At La Huerta, you get to build your dream home within serene surroundings, lush greenery and fresh air, no doubt the ideal home in a postpandemic future.
